FOUNDER OF THE CHURCH

FOUNDER OF THE CHURCH

HISTORY OF AROMA OF CHRIST

Aroma of Christ is a growing charismatic church in Accra, Ghana, founded in 1996 by the late prophet Maxwell Acheampong at Nyamekye junction, Lapaz opposite KATA International Hostel, Kwashieman Motorway, as a fellowship in House of Commons.
In 1996 it became a full ministry with almost about a thousand members. Rev. Felicia Acheampong was called into the ministry to assist her late husband in the year 2000, and became the Senior Associate Pastor in 2004.
Under the late Prophet Maxwell Acheampong, many miracles were performed and several other people received their deliverance. Examples include a couple in U.S.A, who had married for many years without a child, had a child through a telephone prayer by the late prophet.
A young girl who also went through marriage difficulties was prayed for and she is now married to a white man. A school girl who was in the Central Region who was mentally challenged was brought to the prophet and was delivered from the hands of the devil and is now the secretary to a big company in Accra.
After the death of the Prophet, a team of bishops decided that Rev. Felicia Acheampong the wife of the late prophet should take over. They were Bishops Ofori Attah, Bishop Salifu Amoako, Rev. Issac Owusu Bempah to mention but few.
Minister Felicia added that the church is currently taking steps to opened branches in Kumasi, Ashaiman, and Brong-Ahafo Region even though their two branches at teshie was taking away by the then resident pastors,
She said about 20 ministers were trained under her husband and are now operation in many parts of the world including the USA, UK and many other places.
She congratulated the church for their support and expressed gratitude to the elders, youth and other fellowships in the church for their hard work.
The vision of the church is to win more souls for God, build schools, hospital and engaged the church into farming. Currently the church as three strong pastors helping the Rev. Felicia to man the church.
